The Ultimate Festival Look of 2017

 Open-Air Frauenfeld 2017

Open-Air Frauenfeld 2017

They say there is always a first time for everything and this year, I experienced a couple of first times of doing things I never did before. One of them is attending an open-air festival. This year I have not only been to one but two open-air festivals and I loved both. It even made me wonder why it took me so long to experience that. I was definitely missing out on something. Of course, I prepared some outfits to wear. One outfit in particularly inspired me to write this blog post because, in my opinion, it was my ultimate festival outfit/look of 2017. Festival season isn`t over yet, so if you still don`t know what to wear or don`t have that one special outfit/look, please read on.

Let`s start from the top. Tribal face paint inspired my makeup look for the festival season this year.

For my face decorations, I used a white liquid liner from NYX. Besides my improvised tribal face paint, I kept my make up very simple. I put some “Better Than Sex” mascara on from Too Faced and on my lips the matte lipstick “Vixen” from Kylie Cosmetics. As for accessories, I wore a tribal statement neckless from Bershka and to mix a little flower child vibe to this look, I put on a flower crown too.

I styled a knitted crop-top with a high waist black skirt, which is layered with a thin black material. Knitted crop- tops are always an excellent choice because it gives you a touch of earthiness in your style, which fits perfectly into the open-air mood of a festival. If you’re not feeling the black high waist skirt, you can combine your knitted crop-top with a high waist jeans shorts/skirt. I finished off my outfit with a pair of white leather sneakers but of course, you could wear sandals to this style as well. It`s your choice😊
