Attending "Impress! Find Your Own Way" Workshop By Girls Drive And UBS

 Cheers!

Cheers!

Last Wednesday I had the opportunity to attend the workshop “Impress! Find your one way” hosted by Girls Drive and UBS. This amazing event occurred in the lovely setting of the fashion store Modissa at Bahnhofstreet 5 in Zurich. I was fortunate enough to get one seat at the workshop because these events are always limited to a certain number of attenders. Because it`s important to me to share my experiences with you, I`ll be giving you the inside scoop of the most memorable moments from Wednesday evening.

The event was filled with four inspiring speakers Rebecca Guntern, Tatjana Strobel, Sandra Huber-Schütz and Racha Fajjari. Sandra-Stella Triebel moderated the whole evening. She is the owner of the publisher firm Swiss Ladies Drive Gmbh, which owns the print magazine “Girls Drive” for female students.

Rebecca Guntern is a mother, a wife and the CEO of Sandoz Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. She is named by the newspaper “Blick am Abend” the most beautiful CEO in Switzerland and her key to success is complacency. When you`re satisfied with yourself, it also reflects in your work. Another advice she gave us was to network as much as we can and be less uptight with it too.

Tatjana Strobel had our full attention with her bright personality

Tatjana Strobel is a bestselling author and physiognomy expert. With her energetic and charismatic speech, she thought us what really counts in a good first impression.

Ranking: 1. Face expression (smile/eyes) 2. Eye contact 3. Body language 4. Clothing 5. Positive Language 6. Hygiene

She challenged us at the end of her speech to write down twice the amount of strengths then the number of our age. With that we should think about what makes us happy and where we want to be in life. In that way, you will be starting to find your own way. This may be a good challenge for you too 😉

We also had the chance to participate in a fashion workshop in business styling by stylist Melanie Abisser. She is an experienced stylist who has worked for a lot of people in high positions and in the public eye.

Here are some pointers of business styling: 1. Never buy something which isn`t perfect. 2. Never buy individual parts 3. Buy combos 4. Mix fabrics 5. Important! Find your perfect clothing cut and always look high quality 6. Skirt length must be under the knees 7. Use elegant colors like black and white or colors with a dark tone.

After attending Impress! Find your own way – workshop I would highly recommend everybody to visit workshops where you can learn from people with experience. I`ve learned very much and connected with a lot of interesting individuals too.
